Prayer Meetings

Our main prayer meeting is held at our church building, at 7.45pm – 8.45pm on the second, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays of the month.

We believe that it’s our responsibility to set time aside specially to pray to our Father in Heaven. Our prayer meetings begin with hearing from God’s Word, and then we pray in response to what we have heard. As many people as possible are encouraged to join in with the prayer, praying simple prayers to their Heavenly Father, in response to what God is saying to us in his word.

We pray together for global, national, local and church family needs. And we pray in confidence that because of Jesus, God the Father will delight to hear our prayers, and will act for his glory.

Home Groups

We have a number of home groups, comprising around 8-10 people, meeting around Bury to study the Bible together and to pray and encourage one another in our Christian walk. Home groups meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.

If you’d like to find out more about joining a home group, please speak to one of the elders or deacons on a Sunday.
