Westgate Chapel is easy enough to find on foot as it is very close to the former Elephant and Castle public house (now the East of England Co-op Funeral Service) and the West End ‘Chippy’, just behind the new roundabout where Cullum Road, Parkway, Out Westgate and Westgate Street meet. It is a ten minute walk from the town centre. In a car it is slightly more difficult as Hospital Road is blocked at the end. Car users should take the A143 and head for the Spread Eagle public house/Green Ace (BP) Garage, access the end section of Hospital Road from Petticoat Lane (uphill from the traffic lights) and follow this road to the very end. However, from now until February 2018, Petticoat Lane is closed due to roadworks, so you'll need to reach us via a diversion, either along Abbot Road or West Road.
We meet every Sunday at 10:30am & 6:30pm at:

There is no on site car parking at the church although we do have the use, on Sundays, of the car park at the Child Development Centre situated on the south side of Hospital Road about 200 m to the west of the chapel. Alternatively, there is on street parking in either Hospital Road or Westgate St. Please be aware that parking restrictions apply on Hospital Road Monday to Saturday.
Only ‘blue badge holders’ have permission to use the Hyndman Centre car park immediately adjacent to the church. This is used by our friends from the neighbouring church of St Peter’s. If you should inadvertently park there and the gates are locked that we do not have the keys so you may have to wait some time to be released!
For the Induction Service, we do not have access to the Hyndman Centre Car Park. Please use the Child Development Centre parking or the parking in town.
